Fruit Cake

- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 egg
- 1 cup raisins
- 2 cups candied citrus fruit
- 1 cup nuts
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1 cup warm apple sauce
- 1 cup dates
- 1/4 cup brandy
- Use 3/4 cup flour to carot fruit, nuts, raisins and dates.
- Mix ingredients.
- Bake at 350°F for 1 hour. This may vary with pan size.
