Funnel Cake

  1. Beat together egg and milk; set aside. Mix together the dry ingredients in a small mixing bowl.
  2. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the egg and milk mixture. Beat until smooth.
  3. Heat oil to 375°F.
  4. Pour batter into a funnel. Slowly allow batter to fall into the hot oil. Swirl batter in a circular motion to form a spiral form cake.
  5. Cook until golden brown.
  6. Sprinkle with confectioner's sugar.
