Greek Honey & Cheese Pie
Sesame Seed Shell
- 1 cup Flour
- 1/3 cup Butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 tablespoon toasted Sesame Seed
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
Filling
- 2 x 8 ounces package Cream Cheese
- 2 Eggs
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1/2 cup Honey
- 1/2 cup Whipping Cream
- 1 teaspoon grated Lemon Peel
- 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
- NOTE: I believe that there is enough filling to fill two crusts.
- Prepare crust by mixing all ingredients and pressing them into a 9" pie plate. Bake for 5 minutes at 475°F.
- Beat cream cheese with a mixer until creamy. Add remaining ingredients and mix until fluffy. Bake at 350°F until firm (40-50 minutes). Cool before serving.
