Penne Pasta Bake

- 12 ounces penne pasta
- 1 pound 80% lean ground beef
- 1 x 15 ounces can Italian tomato sauce
- 1 x 14 1/2 ounce can diced tomatoes with Italian herbs
- 1 x 6 ounces can Italian tomato paste with roasted garlic
- 4 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Brown meat in large skillet, drain. Stir in tomato sauce, undrained tomatoes, tomato paste and 1/2 cup water. Simmer until heated through, stirring occasionally.
- Layer half pasta, half meat sauce and half cheese in a 13" x 9" baking dish. Repeat layering.
- Cover and bake in preheated 350°F oven for 20 min., until hot.
