Shoo-fly Cake

- 4 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup lard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup molasses
- 2 cups warm water
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Make crumbs out of dry ingredients and lard. Save one cup of crumbs for later.
- Mix wet ingredients and add to dry mixture.
- Top with extra crumbs.
- Bake 1 hour at 350°F
