Microsoft AccessMy early career as a programmer relied heavily on Microsoft Access.
When Microsoft released Access 1.0, I began a series of consulting projects using the
new technology. After college, I was hired a Meliora Systems, where I became the Lead
Developer on a commercial software package (Ingenium) developed entirely in
Microsoft Access 2.0. I maintained that product for several years, until
we migrated the package to Visual Basic with SQL Server and Oracle back-ends. Although I do not program in Access as often as I once have, I still use
Access from time-to-time for smaller projects. |
